Week 10 Log
This week the programmers focused on improving the features we had. This means, the second minion now jumps multiple times to the players. It is now a minion chasing the player with jumps, but explodes after a few attempts. After this we also improved the camera, and made it smooth as well. We also improved the attack hit detections for both the players and minions, as they were a bit wonky. Now they work perfectly.
The artists made the animations for the boss and rigged and animated the gladiator minion. The boss now has an animation for every attack he has, so 4 in total, a death animation and an idle animation. The minion has a fewer animations, it attacks, walks, can be idle and can die.
Implementing these animations was hard and gave us a lot of trouble. First off we had problems with the imported animations, their rigs were set to legacy, which caused issues. Luckily we found the fix fast. For now only the boss's animations are implemented, they are not 100 percent finnished, but they're in the game.
We also made some particle effects for whenever a player recieves a buff from killing a minion. These are not implemented yet.
EDIT: The buff particles were actually inplemented, but some code was deleted by accident, and so they were not in build nr. 6. We've included them in a new build, build nr.7.
